BANDS WITH BONDING PLATES |

It is a roller band with separate bonding plate for the corrosion
proofing protection of underground and external steel pipelines. Once it has been
applied, it protects the steel sublayers and the main pipeline coatings (such as
polyethylene, bituminous coating or epoxy substances).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Rolls: Cut a piece of band according to the pipe diameter, following the relevant table.
Clean and degrease well the surface. Preheat the tube at 50 - 60 °C, apply the band after
heating one edge until it adheres to the pipe surface. Heat the other edge and apply it
overlapping the first edge. Cut the band according to the joint width and apply the
bonding plate overlapping the jointing point. Heat the whole surface in a regular way as
to eliminate any wrinkle or air pockets, up to the band total thermoshrinkage. Kit:
Ready-to-use sized-up cut bands. Apply them as above specified. |
