This is an inhibited acid-based scales remover. It can be used for
many different applications, such as: to remove rust and corrosion from
structures made of metal, to eliminate calcareous or siliceous scales from pipes and
closed circulation systems in boilers and heat exchangers, to pickle concrete, to
eliminate oxidation from different types of metal; in particular steel, copper and cast
iron. Use ZINCONEX on aluminium and galvanized surfaces. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Dilute the product on acid resistant vessels only (PVC or polyethylene) adding some water
to Disinex (variable ratio from 10:1 to 5:1).
When the acid loses its effect, its initial pink colour turns to orange - yellow. If the
colour stays pink when adding some more product, this means the scales removal has
occurred completely. A further evidence of it, is given when carbon dioxide bubbles stop
to form.
Then wash with NEUTRAL product. TECHNICAL DATA: pH (10 % solution): 1.2 +/- 0.2 - Specific weight: 1.13 -
